The short answer

Naija Game Arena uses five Whot instructions: 1 is Hold On, 2 is Pick Two, 8 is Suspension, 14 is General Market, and 20 is the Whot wildcard. Pick Two does not stack, General Market makes the opponent draw one card, and Whot lets the player choose the next shape.

The complete special-card table

Good to know: These are the platform rules. Offline groups sometimes add other house rules, so check which rule set is in use before comparing results.

Hold On and Suspension in a two-player game

In a game with more than two people, “play again” and “skip the next player” can feel different. In a two-player match, both effects return control to the player who used the card.

The distinction still matters because the card numbers, legal matches and scoring values are different. A Hold On card is number 1; Suspension is number 8.

Pick Two does not stack

When a Pick Two is played, the opponent draws exactly two cards and their turn ends. They cannot answer with another Pick Two to increase or pass on the penalty.

After the penalty is resolved, play returns to the player who used Pick Two. This makes the result predictable and prevents an unlimited penalty chain.

General Market draws one and skips the opponent

General Market makes the opponent draw one card and lose their turn. In a two-player match, play returns to the player who used it.

It differs from Pick Two only in the size of the forced draw: General Market draws one card, while Pick Two draws two. Both skip the affected opponent.

How the Whot wildcard changes shape

A Whot card can be placed on any top card. The player then requests one of the five standard shapes: Circle, Triangle, Cross, Square or Star.

The opponent must answer with that shape or use another Whot card. Because Whot cards count as 20 points if the draw pile runs out, holding one for too long also carries a scoring risk.

Using a special card as your final card

You may finish with an instruction card. Emptying your hand ends the match immediately, so the instruction has no gameplay consequence after the win. It may still be shown as an animation.

You do not need to type a last-card call in the online game; the interface applies the platform rules automatically.
